The products in the series include:
1. Vinnie's Ultra Penetrating Oil (Regular/Dark)
This is the flagship of the series, a deep-penetrating and versatile oil that solves your finishing needs on wooden surfaces with a solid, natural and non-toxic finish for your projects. Made from cold-pressed, natural oils and waxes, specially designed by experienced woodworkers with decades of experience in the Swedish wood industry. This oil penetrates deep into the material and hardens naturally on its own. It protects against moisture, UV rays and wear. It is perfect for surfaces that are exposed to heavy wear. Ideal for both wood and epoxy projects. The wax gives a nice matte finish, but feel free to apply a layer of Vinnie's Universal Wax on top if you want a satin finish.
2. Vinnie's Universal Oil
The all-purpose oil is the ultimate solution for most projects. It is perfect for lighter projects or as a maintenance for already treated wood. This product renews older surfaces, breathes new life into worn wood, and provides a beautiful, natural finish. It is made from several solvent-free oils and waxes that provide a matte or slightly glossy finish, depending on how you use it.
Vinnie's Universal Wax (Hard/Soft)
This is a hard wax that is known to be one of the toughest on the market. It is applied in several layers to the surface and provides a water-repellent barrier that protects against moisture and wear. The wax gives the wood a light shine and can be used both alone or over Vinnie's Ultra Penetrating Oil to enhance protection. In addition, you have a soft variant that you can use if you are applying without a machine.

How often should I reapply Vinnie's Oil?
The frequency depends on the use and the condition of the surface. For indoor use, an annual treatment is usually sufficient. For outdoor surfaces exposed to harsh weather conditions, more frequent applications may be desirable, but this will become apparent over time. If you have applied several coats to begin with, the surface will be better able to stand longer before the next maintenance application.

Frequently asked questions
Is Vinnie's Oil environmentally friendly?
Absolutely! Vinnie's Oil is made from renewable resources and is biodegradable. It is free of harmful chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it a sustainable choice for wood protection.
How long does it take for Vinnie's Oil to dry?
Vinnie's Oil typically dries to the touch within 4-8 hours. However, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before applying additional coats or using the treated surface, and 3 days before full use.
How many layers are recommended?
We recommend applying two coats of Vinnie's Oil for optimal protection. For high-use surfaces, a third coat may be beneficial, or a coat of wax for a beautiful satin finish.
Can I apply Vinnie's Oil over existing treatments?
Yes, Vinnie's Oil can be applied over most existing treatments, but it is important that the surface is clean and free of waxes, varnishes or polishes. It may therefore be beneficial to sand the wood down slightly to open the pores and remove old wax and varnish.
