Micarta plate shaft material

Micarta is a material made of epoxy/resin and several layers of, for example, paper, canvas or burlap and is a favorite knife handle material known for its good grip properties. These include:

1. Low thermal conductivity, which provides warm grip in cold weather
2. Good grip in wet conditions due to fiber structure
3. Withstands beating

In addition, the material accepts various finishes such as polishing, fine plaster, coating and sand/glass beadblasting.
