What do I need to make a kydex sheath?

When you are going to start making sheaths in kydex or boltaron there is some equipment you need. Below is a complete overview of what you need to get started, in addition to some "nice to have".

1. Kydex sheets
2. Kydex press , or foam to press kydex around the knife
3. Kydex eyelets for attaching the kydex sheets together
4. Drill bits for kydex that fit the eyelets
5. A tool for pressing the eyelets together so that they attach. That is, an Eyelet Setter.

So where do you find these things and what do you need them for?

3. So to make holes for the eyelets you need drill bits, you may have them but you have these here that fit the eyelets we have Drill bit 1/4" for KYDEX - Storbua.no

In addition, it can be useful to have a wallpaper knife or other sharp knife to cut cuts in the kydex to bend and break off a plate, or a regular saw. And masking tape is useful to have to create spacing between the knife blade and the sheath.
