When you are going to start making sheaths in kydex or boltaron there is some equipment you need. Below is a complete overview of what you need to get started, in addition to some "nice to have".

First a quick overview of what is needed, and then you will find everything you need in the links below:
- Kydex sheets
- Kydex press , or foam to press kydex around the knife
- Kydex eyelets for attaching the kydex sheets together
- Drill bits for kydex that fit the eyelets
- A tool for pressing the eyelets together so that they attach. That is, an Eyelet Setter.
So where do you find these things and what do you need them for?

- To shape the sheath, you need foam to press it together . Foam for kydex press (kydex press foam) – Storbua.no

In addition, it can be useful to have a wallpaper knife or other sharp knife to cut cuts in the kydex to bend and break off a plate, or a regular saw. And masking tape is useful to have to create spacing between the knife blade and the sheath.
