Juma is a material that originated from a desire for synthetic ivory. An epoxy/resin with suitable properties was therefore developed that is remarkably similar to ivory in both production and result. This is Elforyn.
It became clear that there was a desire for more color options than the epoxy in Elforyn could offer, so a new type was further developed, which could be mixed with different minerals and give very interesting colors and patterns. This is called JUMA.
Information about Juma:
- Excellent mechanical processing, for example when drilling, milling, grinding and polishing
- Minimal risk of breakage due to high coefficient of elasticity and homogeneous structural composition
- High quality surface due to high surface hardness and resistance to wear
- Resistant to all conventional agents such as cleaning agents, oils, greases, weak/medium acids and bases.
- Low water absorption
- Possible to shape in boiling water
- Can be polished or varnished to obtain polished or matte surfaces.
- Comfortable to the touch due to suitable thermal conductivity
Juma has been in demand here with us since day one, and we have finally reached an agreement that allows us to offer JUMA and Elforyn.
